Social Brand 2012 Packs on Added Branding Muscle

August 31, 2012

Branding has always been an abstract concept to grasp. More challenging still is the fact that how we build brands has been forever altered by the emergence of social media. The focus of this fall’s Social Brand Forum has always been on helping organizations build more social brands. We’re pleased to announce that we’ve doubled down on our event’s branding expertise even further. We already have a killer line-up but today it gets even better.

Two top-caliber experts are joining our value-packed day and a half of social media smarts on October 17-18 at the Iowa River Landing. First, I’m thrilled that John M. Morgan, author of Brand Against the Machine, will be joining us. John’s book not only unpacks the often misunderstood practice of branding but it does so in a thoroughly modern, social media-focused context.

I was fortunate enough to get a few moments with John recently to discuss our event, his book, and what it really means to build social brands. (Can’t wait? Register now.)

We’re also excited to welcome TJ Stein, (mt) MediaTemple’s social customer service guru, to the #SocialBrand12 line-up. TJ will be speaking about managing a crisis with social media, with focus on the impact on customer relationships and brand reputation.

Social media provides us with unparalleled tools for building, growing, and protecting our brands. John and TJ enhance our already impressive line-up for Iowa’s premier social media marketing event.

Don’t delay! The time to register for Social Brand 2012 is now. We still have a few early registration slots available for $195 (vs. $275) which also gets you copies of books by Ann Handley, DJ Waldow, and Mack Collier. Register now >
