We are just over a month away from this year’s Social Brand Forum! In looking ahead to this exciting time, it’s also fun to look back at where this conference came from. Social Media Explorer used to do regional “Explore” events that were a big inspiration in creating the “goldilocks” event that is the Social Brand Forum. That’s why we’re honored to be joined by Social Media Explorer’s founder, Jason Falls, at this year’s forum.
By day, Jason Falls serves as Vice President of Digital Strategy at CafePress. However, as founder of Social Media Explorer, Falls is one of the founding fathers of the social media revolution. He’s also the co-author of No Bullshit Social Media and The Rebel’s Guide to Email Marketing. When Jason speaks you can count on doing two things in mass quantities — learning and laughing.
This video is proof of that.
Here’s an overview of Jason’s talk at Social Brand Forum 2014!
There is No Fresh Broccoli: A No-Nonsense Blueprint for Digital Marketing Success
How do I drive more engagement? How do I measure ROI? How do I get more Likes? Who should manage all this? How can we check this box and move on to the next item on our list?
We’re asking the same questions about digital marketing and social media we asked five years ago. Why? This isn’t rocket surgery, people!!! In his trademark, No B.S. style, industry pundit Jason Falls’s talk will help you understand:
- Why most fail at digital marketing
- What core philosophies drive digital marketing success
- How managers can approach digital marketing to be successful
- How to determine the right mix of paid, earned and owned media
- How to answer all those same old questions
He’ll also explain what no fresh broccoli has to do with today’s digital marketing landscape.
