Spring is here! We’re (hopefully) done with snow and this endless, unforgiving winter that we’ve slogged through. As things green up with life, we’re also even closer to Social Brand Forum 2014. Believe it or not, this industry-leading digital marketing event is just five months away! As such we thought we’d take advantage of this wonderful spring day to tell you a little bit more about this year’s event.

We have new speakers, new sponsors, and more to announce. First, let’s start with the speakers. As you Social Brand alumni know, one of the things that makes this event special is the fact that it’s a single-track conference. We present a series of insightful keynotes from the best and brightest thought leaders in social media and content marketing.

Today I’m proud to announce the following additions to our Social Brand Forum 2014 line-up. (If you can’t take the excitement, it’s okay to go ahead and register now.)

red-fallsJason Falls, Social Media Explorer

Jason Falls is a digital strategist and thinker of things, mainly web and marketing related. Some people have called him innovative and influential. Jason’s work has touched a number of large brands including Maker’s Mark, AT&T, and Humana to name a few. He’s co-authored two books and is a professional speaker focused on digital marketing with a degree of expertise in social media marketing specifically. When Falls speaks, audiences normally learn something and laugh a little, too.

red-chernovJoe Chernov, Hubspot

Joe Chernov is the VP of Content for HubSpot, where he manages the company’s blog and content offers teams. He was previously the VP of Marketing for Kinvey, a mobile infrastructure start-up. Joe joined Kinvey from Eloqua, where he served as VP of Content Marketing. The Content Marketing Institute named him “Content Marketer of the Year” in 2012. He serves on the board of advisors for marketing tech startups Little Bird and Track Maven.

red-osheaKerry Gorgone, Marketing Profs

Kerry O’Shea Gorgone is Instructional Design Manager, Enterprise Training, at MarketingProfs, where she also hosts the Marketing Smarts podcast. She’s also a speaker, writer, attorney and educator. She holds an MBA from Bentley University, and graduated first in her class from Suffolk University Law School. Kerry has taught courses in marketing law, intellectual property, and business. Most recently, she taught New Media Marketing and Marketing Campaign Development for the Internet Marketing Master of Science Program at Full Sail University in Florida.

Falls, Gorgone, and Chernov join Chris Brogan, CEO of Owner Magazine, Ann Handley, Chief Content Officer of MarketingProfs, and John Jantsch, Founder of Duct Tape Marketing as speakers at this year’s Social Brand Forum. Additional speakers as well as the complete agenda will be released in the months ahead. Register now for the very best rate.

New sponsors have stepped forward in support of the event including Hubspot, the world’s leading inbound marketing and sales platform. They join previously announced sponsors Fusionfarm and Zephyr Printing and Design. Interested in sponsoring the Social Brand Forum? Contact us now.

Registration for the event is $375, which includes a copy of Chris Brogan’s new book, The Freaks Shall Inherit the Earth, and a new book from Ann Handley for each attendee. However, the first 150 to register will receive a special rate of $275 as well as a copy of John Jantsch’s new book Duct Tape Selling. A student rate of $95 is also available by emailing [email protected].

This gets all attendees access to the event as well as our opening night reception at Backpocket Brewing. Attendees can also purchase additional access to a special pre-conference workshop led by Ann Handley and me. More details will be coming soon on this workshop but it promises powerful content and personal access to best-spelling author and speaker Ann Handley. This special session is limited to just 50 attendees.
