Get Your Brand in Gear with Content Marketing Boot Camp 2014

content marketing boot camp

We work to help businesses throughout the Midwest build better brands online a lot of different ways. The oldest method is the one you’re reading right now — our blog. We also create ebooks from time to time and offer our professional consulting and coaching services. However, the area where we’ve grown the most over the past year has been in our live learning event series. Today, I’m excited to introduce our latest offering — Content Marketing Boot Camp.

Our Social Brand Forum each fall has quickly grown to become the Midwest’s premier digital marketing event, while our Brand Driven Boot Camp series provides daylong intensive and interactive workshops around a specific digital marketing discipline. Last year, we asked area marketers what topic they’d like covered most and the answer was met with our Social Strategy Boot Camp. When we asked this year, the votes resulted in a resounding cry for Content Marketing Boot Camp.

Why Content Marketing?

Content marketing is on the rise in the B2C, B2B, and non-profit sectors. Consumers today are devouring an increasing number of blog posts, photos, videos, podcasts, ebooks, and more. As such, many marketers are struggling not only to keep up with this demand but to ensure that their brand’s content is engaging enough to stand out in the crowded digital marketplace.

How Content Marketing Boot Camp Works

Content Marketing Boot Camp, the latest offering in our Brand Driven Boot Camp Series, is designed to help you ground your efforts with a content marketing strategy — believe it or not, nearly half of all marketers report not having a formal strategy. During the day, you’ll also cover best practices and time-saving tricks to help you become a better blogger, podcaster, videographer, and online content creator.

You’ll also receive one-on-one assistance in determining what forms of content make the most sense for your brand. I’ll lead the learning modules while our Director of Social Strategy Macy Koch will lead the interactive discussion groups. The best part? You’ll leave the event with a content marketing plan for sharing with your team and leadership.

Cost for the all-day event is $145 until one month prior, when the price goes up to $175. In response to feedback from last year’s Boot Camp, event registration also includes a catered lunch so you can have even more time networking with your peers.

Once again, our Content Marketing Boot Camp tour kicks off at the Cedar Rapids Museum of Art on January 23rd. From here, we convene a new Boot Camp each month through June with stops in Des Moines, Cedar Falls, Davenport, Ames, and Madison. Here’s the complete schedule with links to register for the first four tour stops. Register now using the links below.

Because we have designed this as a more intensive and interactive workshop we are targeting a smaller head count. Be sure to register now to reserve your seat. Or, better yet, bring your team and work through 2014 planning together with us.
