December 3, 2014

brand driven event series

It’s hard to believe it’s that time of year! No, not the holidays. I’m talking about that other “most wonderful time of year” when we rollout our series of events designed to help marketers at organizations of all sizes build better brands online. From the industry-leading Social Brand Forum to our intensive Boot Camps and a new Twitter training, we have the live learning events you need to take your marketing to the next level in 2015.

And guess what? We have registration open for all events right now with incentives for those interesting in saving big. Maybe you have leftover budget you want to use. Maybe you want to plan for the year ahead. Or perhaps you want to send your whole team to our first-class digital marketing events. As we say in the Midwest, the earlybird gets the worm or, in this case, the best price.

Let’s take a look at the 2015 Brand Driven Digital Event Series.

New Venue & Registration Levels for Social Brand 2015

Now in its fourth year, the Social Brand Forum has been rated as a top social media and digital marketing event by Convince and Convert, Buffer, Social Fresh, and more. Each year we’ve sold out the event and each subsequent year we’ve worked to carefully grow the forum while still maintaining that ideal size that allows attendees to make connections, start conversations, and build that sense of community.

We have several announcements that are sure to make #SocialBrand15 one of our best events yet. First, we’re excited to announced that the Social Brand Forum will be held on October 15–16 at a new and exciting venue — the historic Englert Theatre in downtown Iowa City. In addition to being an innovative space in the heart of a vibrant downtown, we’re also taking advantage of the size and scope of the Englert by providing new ticketing opportunities. There are three access levels to choose from — Basic, Full, and VIP.

Here’s a video all about what to expect from Social Brand Forum 2015.

Here are those registration levels once again. Remember, rates at all levels go up on April 1st and August 1st. We strive to provide an opportunity to learn from some of the best and brightest in our industry without the high-price tag and travel that comes from other comparable events.

  • VIP Access provides the most extensive Social Brand Forum experience. In addition to full access to both days of the event, the opening reception, and the Friday networking lunch, the VIP experience guarantees seating in the first few rows of the Englert Theatre, convenient access to power, multiple books from speakers, the pre-conference workshop, as well as special networking opportunities to get to know the event’s speakers.
  • Full Access allows attendees to experience both days of the event, the opening night reception, and the Friday networking lunch. Full access attendees also receive a book by one of the event’s speakers.
  • Basic Access provides balcony level seating for both days of the event and access to the Friday networking lunch. An ideal fit for students and educators.

More announcements and event details will be coming in the months ahead including speaker announcements, the full conference agenda, pre-conference opportunities, new features, and much more.

New Digital Strategy Boot Camps Announced for Cedar Rapids, Madison, and Des Moines

digital strategy boot camp

For the past two years, I’ve led a series of daylong intensive, interactive, and educational workshops throughout the Midwest on topics including social media strategy and content marketing. This year’s new training is Digital Strategy Boot Camp, which covers the entire digital ecosystem from website, content, and social media to search, email marketing, and online advertising.

Attendees will leave the event with a digital strategy they can take back and share with their team. All stops on this year’s Boot Camp tour are in downtown areas with several options available for attendees to have lunch and network with peers.

2015 Digital Strategy Boot Camp tour stops include:

  • Cedar Rapids, IA – March 26 at the Iowa Startup Accelerator
  • Madison, WI – April 16 at 100State
  • Des Moines, IA – May 14 at the Des Moines Social Club

Early registration for the daylong workshop is $145. On March 1, 2015 all rates go up to $175. For more information and to register, go to branddrivenbootcamp.com.

New Twitter Brand Basics Provides Half-Day Training on Twitter for Brands

Brand Driven Digital is also launching a new course focused entirely on Twitter use for business called Twitter Brand Basics. Twitter continues to play a growing role in how brands are built, how information is shared, and how purchases are made. And yet this social network remains among the most misunderstood by brands of all shapes and sizes.

Twitter Brand Basics will offer a mix of instructional lessons, interactive activities, and hands-on learning designed to help organizations make the most of Twitter. Attendees will leave this informative and actionable workshop with a better handle on how to use Twitter to build brands and grow online communities.

Twitter Brand Basics will be held at the ICAAR Classroom in the Iowa River Landing in Coralville, Iowa. Registration for the half-day event is $85. As this is intended to be a smaller, hands-on workshop, this training is capped at 20 attendees to ensure that everyone gets 1:1 attention and guidance.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We have several attractive sponsorship opportunities available for both the Social Brand Forum and our Digital Strategy Boot Camp tour. You can get an overview here, however, I’d love to talk with you about being a part of our event. Let’s connect.

Another Exciting Year of Learning!

From the growing Social Brand Forum to our new Twitter Brand Basics, we are excited about all aspects of our 2015 Event Series. Whether it’s a large conference or an intimate training it’s all part of our mission to help businesses in our region build better brands online.
